Michael Cohen founded Michael Stars as a "casual couture" & t-shirt company in 1986. Michael is a native of Cape Town, South Africa, and came to LA in 1976. Working with his wife and brother, Michael has grown the line from basic cotton T's to Shine, Supima, Modal, Micro-Jersey, Slub-Jersey and Cashmere. The line now offers dresses, shirts, sweaters and scarves in addition to fashionable t's in a wide array of colors, and is now designed to fit women of all sizes.
